Limited Mobility

Life is stenotic.
Creeping through narrow hallways, wondering what opportunities exist behind closed doors,
I think about the life of an optical illusion.
Its image, pressing.
Its existence, inconceivable.
When doors open, options collide.
Dreams that are too delicate to touch plaster themselves against a locked window.
Their colors, I can’t describe.
